- Join forces with others that are in support of your "what"
- Make sure your LinkedIn, Twitter and other social accounts speak about your issue and tag them when possible.
- Ask to be linked with someone who does have the time to work with you if your influencee doesn't.
- Make sure you come prepared, have a two- pager on the subject and/or your business card ready to share
