It's one thing to have policies and procedures in place, it's a different thing to actually translate these to practice and make sure that all people working for the organization are aware and able to implement them. Providing opportunities for reflection can be a good way to realize this, which is exactly what we'll do in this chapter.
In this chapter we will look at safeguarding in practice. We will do this by:
- Reflecting on situations that may occur in reality
- Sharing some main advice
- Listening to one of our Trainers4Life who shares her tips for safeguarding young people in the program
