Safeguarding Young People


 

In this chapter we will start by reflecting on what safeguarding means.

We would like to address the safeguarding young people policy and practices we should follow to ensure we are all on the same page and can keep young people safe from both Intentional and Unintentional harm. 




The term Safeguarding describes the broader preventative and precautionary approach to planning and procedures that must be in place to protect children and young people from potential harm. Safeguarding involves keeping children and young people safe from a wide range of potential hazards. It involves preventive action as well as reactive response.
